چکیده

Reprocessing of seismic reflection data over Nader field in the Egyptian Western Desert, improved images surface structural framework. The appearance can be affected by various factors apart from subsurface structure, including acquisition problems and processing artefacts. Different post-stack steps were tested compared to original determine enhancement quality improvements on imaging subsurface. applied sequence increased resolution through increasing signal-to-noise ratio, enhancing faults detection, reflectors sharpness continuity. Time Variant Frequency Filter (TVF) application is found better than applying filter one time window provided more detailed frequency contents turn identification. Frequency/Wave Number (F/K) removed lot existing linear noises resulted clear images. Frequency/Distance (F/X) Deconvolution enhanced coherency removing random noises. Spiking showed remarkable compressing their reprocessed interpretation Abu Roash C member Filed, Shushan basin, North Egypt, comparing original, mapping which highlighted new potential structures that could act as hydrocarbon traps.

Pre-stack Simultaneous Inversion of 3D Seismic Data for Velocity Attributes to Delineate Channel Sand Reservoir

Channel sand acts as stratigraphic trap for hydrocarbon accumulation in many parts of the world. Delineation of this type of reservoir is crucial as channel sand may be scarce and inaccurate location of the drilling wells could lose a huge currency. To differentiate channel sand from the host rocks, attributes such as P and S wave velocity ratio plays a vital role in the study area. The velocit...

3 D seismic image processing for subsurface modeling CWP

Subsurface modeling from seismic and borehole data is important for reservoir prediction, geophysical exploration and production. A reasonable model should honor borehole rock properties and conform to seismic structural and stratigraphic features. Such a subsurface model can be di cult to create in cases complicated by faults and unconformities. Automatic and semi-automatic methods have been p...

Porosity estimation using post-stack seismic inversion method in part of the Qom Formation in the Aran Anticline, Central Iran

Petro-physical parameters of the reservoir (porosity, permeability, water saturation) are the most important parameters of oil and gas reservoirs. Economic appraisals of oil and gas reservoirs, as well as management and planning for the production and development of these reservoirs are not possible without the estimation of petro-physical parameters. Since measurements of these parameters are ...
